Live Blackjack Rules

At our Live Blackjack tables, you’ll sit across from real dealers playing with real cards. Pit your wits against our professional dealers in this classic casino game of nerve and excitement, and take it to the next level with our unique options to ‘bet behind’ or place side bets.

Game Play and Game Rules

Live Casino offers a range of stake limits for Live Blackjack, from $5 to $2,500 per box. Each table uses eight 52-card decks, shuffled together in a shoe and reshuffled periodically.

All boxes being played receive two cards, face-up. The dealer receives one hole card and one up-card, and peeks for Blackjack - if the dealer is showing an ace, players may buy ‘insurance’, which pays out at 2:1 if the dealer has Blackjack. Players hitting Blackjack are paid out at 3:2 odds.

Dealers must stand on a 17 or higher, including a ‘soft 17’ (a hand containing an ace that totals 17 or 7).

As the hand progresses, more options become available. Players can double down on any two-card hand, which means doubling the initial bet in exchange for committing to stand after receiving one additional card.

Paired two-card hands (eg 8-8, 2-2, King-Jack, Queen-Ten, etc) can be split to create two hands for an additional wager of the same amount. Players can split once for two hands in total, and split aces receive only one card on each split hand.

The option to ‘surrender’ is not allowed in Live Blackjack.

Table Types and Side Bets

Our Live Blackjack tables operate around the clock. Certain tables offer specific options, including Private tables (exclusively for our players), English or German language support, the choice to ‘bet behind’ and various limits of side bets.

Bet Behind

Some Live Blackjack tables allow players to bet behind any seat on the table, either while waiting for an open seat or just for more action.

Perfect Pairs™

Perfect Pairs™ is an optional bet available on all Live Blackjack tables, offering players the choice to make a separate wager on whether their two cards will be paired. There are three types of pairs, depending on whether both rank and suit, suit color, or simply rank is matched with both cards. These award payouts at the following odds:

WagerOdds
Perfect Pair (matched suits, e.g. 9s-9s, Ah-Ah) 25:1
Colored Pair (matched colors, e.g. 7s-7c, Qh-Qd) 12:1
Mixed Pair (matched ranks only, e.g. 6s-6d, Kc-Kh) 6:1

21+3™

21+3™ bets are optional wagers based on the player’s own two cards plus the dealer’s up-card. These award payouts as follows:

WagerOdds
Suited Trips (e.g. Qs-Qs-Qs) 100:1
Straight Flush (e.g. 7d-8d-9d) 40:1
Three of a Kind (e.g. 3d-3h-3s) 30:1
Straight (e.g. 9c-10d-Jh) 10:1
Flush (e.g. 2h-6h-10h) 5:1
